Wrongful act as a result of law enforcement officer’s provocation doesn’t constitute a corpus delicti A.Batalov accused of attempted fraud on a large scale (part 4 of Article 159 of Code of Criminal Procedure). The investigation apprehended arguments of Bureau’s attorney Anna Ivanova about law enforcement officer’s provocative actions in relation to A.Batalov and therefore the investigation recognized that his actions don’t constitute a corpus delicti. Head of investigation’s group Ruslan Miniahmetov concluded that General Administration for Economic Security and Combatting the Corruption’s officer and his agent provoked the accused to receive a bribe. In connection with this criminal case against A. Batalov was terminated because there is no corpus delicti.
