Alisa Turova has worked in the legal profession for more than 30 years, and for over 20 years, she has been an advocate. Alisa defends clients in pre-trial investigation and in court on criminal charges. She represents clients in civil cases in general courts, specialising in family matters, inheritance, anti-libel suits. Alisa has gained broad experience working for corporate clients, advising on a wide range of issues arising in their business. She has supported contracts, drafted legal opinions, led due diligence exercises.
Alisa Turova graduated from the Moscow State University Law School and completed her Ph.D. at the Moscow State Law Academy. She has taught for a number of years, and then was employed as in-house counsel by several large banks, and served as legal advisor to national newspapers “Commersant” and “Moskovsky Komsomolets”. Alisa joined Padva and Partners in 1997 and is on the Board of Partners. She is a member of the Moscow Bar and is fluent in French.
Alisa Turova was awarded the state medal “For Service in Defending the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens”. In 2009 she was included by “Best Lawyers” (USA) into the list of best Russian lawyers specialising in court representation. In 2010 Alisa’s name was put on the list of best lawyers published by the Russian business daily “Vedomosti”.
